Hi there, I have a 10 year old computer running Windows 95 that has some old valuable files on it. I’d like to copy it off onto my current Windows Vista 32-bit laptop. I tried just connecting a router to both, but am not able to see each other in My Network. Does anyone know if I need to use specific network settings to be able to have a Win95 and WinVista machine talk to each other? Thank you very much!!!

I have to write a paper in my mathematics class, it has to involve my major which is computer network systems. My question is how can i do this. I need more then just adding and multiplying i need good equations at the freshman college level.
Was thinking along the lines of figuring the ip address i can use if I was adding to a Business network, then adding a wan connection to connect 2 companies or Business buildings together.
