How do you wipe all stuff from an old network computer?
Sunday, March 7th, 2010Alistair B asked:
My problem is I have an computer that was being used as a network server in an office it has microsoft server 2003 on it and I would like to delete all the information from it and start again. Then I would be installing windows vista.
At the moment when I try and format it, it says I can’t because it is connected to other computers (which it isn’t).

Would doing something like changing the setting of the ’sharing of computer’ help?
Or is there something else that can be done?

After reconfiguring the clients in the Atlanta office, one large group of users reports that they can no longer access many Web sites. You suspect that one of the three DNS servers is configured incorrectly. So that you can troubleshoot the issue, the users experiencing the problem have provided you with the Web site addresses they can’t access. What tool or tools could you use to determine which DNS server is causing the problem? How do you troubleshoot the issue?
